Serving your community through active participation at Simple Gifts Community Garden helps bring food to the tables of those who have food insecurities, but it also feeds the body, mind and spirit of the participant. Over the years, many participants were able to make personal connections and learn about growing food and protecting pollinators.
Unfortunately, since the garden lost its lease on Dec. 31, 2021 and is busy seeking a new home, we cannot provide support for those in need of Community Service Hours.
In the past, there have been cases where a volunteer needs an “official” letter of verification for one reason or another. If this applies to you, please reach out to Kim Minafo (tiggerteacher87 “at” gmail) with the subject line “Service Hour Certification”.
Thank you for your interest in Simple Gifts Community Garden.
We don’t know when we’ll be “growing” again. Until then, feel free to read more about our community service policies to see if the garden might be a good match for your needs and interests in the future.
